Leo grew up in rural Andover, CT learning to tinker on projects in the garage alongside his father who, after emigrating to the United States, became an engineer at Pratt & Whitney. It was Leo’s father who taught Leo the value of hard work.
Leo attended the University of Connecticut where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Prior to and during college, Leo served as an Army Reservist and was responsible for issuing and maintaining millions of dollars of equipment and supplies soldiers would need to complete their mission. He believes his work with families today is similar- he must maintain and protect clients’ savings so that one day, when they need it, their monies can be deployed for a new mission, whether it be for retirement, college, health care or some other use.
Since 2001, Leo has been working in the financial services industry, consulting with families and business owners by developing investment accumulation plans, retirement distribution strategies, estate and tax plans, as well as personal and business protection using life and long term care insurance.
In order to provide exceptional advice, Leo earned the AAMS advanced designation in financial planning and investment management as well as the CRPS retirement plans designation. His specialty is advanced financial, investment, retirement, and tax planning.
Today, Leo is married, has 2 children and lives on a quiet reservoir property in Manchester, CT where he enjoys mountain biking and hiking.
